My professional journey has taken me from Trinidad, to the United Kingdom, and now Germany — giving me an international
perspective shaped by different cultures, professional environments and life experiences.

FROM HEALTHCARE TO LEADERSHIP
I qualified as a British Registered General Nurse in 1993/94, beginning a career that taught me the importance of listening, compassion, dignity, responsibility and clear communication.
I later moved into senior healthcare management, leading teams, managing budgets and operations, and working across quality, HR, customer care, performance and change.
Managing people during challenging situations taught me that effective leadership is not simply about making decisions.
It is about understanding people, communicating clearly and creating the confidence to move forward.
BUSINESS, EDUCATION & COMMUNICATION
My career then expanded into business, education and professional communication.
I hold an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) and a BA Honours in Social Science, and I have been CELTA qualified since 2003.
For more than 20 years, I have worked in English language teaching and training, including more than 10 years specialising in Business English and professional communication.
I have supported international professionals and business management teams with presentations, meetings, conferences, seminars, workplace communication and professional development.
ACADEMIC & INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
My experience also extends into academic and international environments.
I have worked on projects connected with the World Health Organisation and the European Union, including a SARS Control Project.
I also worked with Hamburg University of Applied Sciences as a Budget and Support Manager and Visiting Lecturer, contributing to scientific publications.
These experiences strengthened my ability to work across disciplines, communicate complex information clearly and collaborate within international and professional environments.

COACHING
I became a Certified Personal Performance Coach and NLP Practitioner, completing my coaching and NLP qualifications in 2021.
Coaching brought together many of the skills and experiences I had developed throughout my career.
For me, coaching is not about telling people what to do.
It is about creating the space to listen, explore, challenge thinking, identify possibilities and empower people to make meaningful changes
